Works exactly as advertised!

I was skeptical about the 3-second claim, but this little ball sharpener really works. My dull chef's knife is slicing tomatoes like new again. The suction cup holds firmly to my counter.

Good but suction could be stronger

The sharpening mechanism is effective, but I sometimes have to re-attach the suction cup if I apply too much pressure. Otherwise, it gets the job done quickly.

Solid little gadget

Great for quick touch-ups

Very convenient tool for maintaining edge between professional sharpenings. It doesn't replace a whetstone for heavily damaged blades, but for daily maintenance, it is perfect.

Safe and easy for scissors too

I mostly bought this for my kitchen shears which were struggling to cut paper. After a few pulls through the slot, they are sharp again. Very happy with this purchase.

A: To release the suction, simply lift the small tab on the base of the unit. Do not pry it off with a knife or hard object to avoid scratching your surface.

Q: Can this sharpener be used on ceramic knives?

A: This sharpener is designed primarily for steel stainless steel knives. We do not recommend using it on ceramic blades as it may damage the edge or the sharpener.

Q: What is the angle of the sharpening slot?

A: The internal guides are set to a universal angle suitable for most standard kitchen knives, typically around 20 degrees per side.

Q: Is the suction cup strong enough for a granite countertop?

A: Yes, the suction cup works best on smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass, granite, or quartz. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before attaching for maximum hold.

Q: Does it come with replacement stones?

A: The sharpening element is built into the unit and is designed to last for thousands of uses. Replacement stones are not currently sold separately.
