Good quality, minor fan noise
The heating element works great and maintains temperature very consistently. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the included cooling fan is slightly louder than the stock one. Otherwise, it's a solid upgrade kit.

Works but instructions were vague
The part itself functions well now that it is installed. However, the included paper instructions were very basic. I had to watch a YouTube video to ensure I wired the thermistor correctly. If you are a beginner, be prepared to do some research.

Perfect replacement for my Vyper
My original hotend started clogging frequently after a year of use. This assembly was a direct fit for my Anycubic Vyper. Installation took about 15 minutes, and the print quality is back to being crisp and clean. Highly recommended for anyone needing a swap.

Solid standard replacement
Does exactly what it says on the tin. It's not a fancy upgrade, but a reliable replacement for the stock E3D V5 style hotend on the Chiron. Prints PLA and PETG without any issues. Shipping was faster than expected.

Excellent for abrasive filaments
I bought this to pair with a hardened steel nozzle for printing carbon fiber PLA. The aluminum heatsink dissipates heat efficiently, and the build quality feels robust. No leaks or temperature fluctuations so far after 50 hours of printing.

Saved my Chiron project
I stripped the threads on my old heater block and needed a quick fix. This entire head assembly arrived fast and worked immediately. No leveling issues after installation. Great value for the price compared to buying individual parts.
Q: Do I need to re-level the bed after installing this?
A: Yes, whenever you replace the hotend assembly, it is best practice to re-level your print bed and adjust the Z-offset to ensure the first layer adheres correctly.
Q: Does this support high-temperature materials like Polycarbonate?
A: The standard brass nozzle included is rated up to 260°C. For Polycarbonate, we recommend purchasing an all-metal hotend version or a hardened steel nozzle separately to reach higher temperatures safely.
Q: Can I use a 0.6mm nozzle with this kit out of the box?
A: The standard kit comes with a 0.4mm nozzle pre-installed. However, the heater block is compatible with E3D V5 nozzles, so you can easily swap in a 0.6mm nozzle if you purchase one separately.
Q: Is this compatible with the Anycubic i3 Mega?
A: No, this assembly is specifically designed for the Anycubic Vyper and Chiron models. The mounting points and wiring harness differ for the i3 Mega series.
Q: What is the length of the thermistor wires?
A: The thermistor and heater cartridge wires are approximately 1 meter in length, which is sufficient for the cable chain routing on both the Vyper and Chiron printers.
