Excellent thermal performance

Works fine but shipping was slow

Perfect replacement for my CR-6 SE

Good quality but instructions could be better
The part itself feels very sturdy and well-machined. However, the included manual was a bit vague on the wiring sequence. I had to watch a YouTube video to confirm the fan orientation. Works great now though.

Solid upgrade for heavy users
We use our printers daily in our workshop. This unit has held up well over the last month of continuous operation. The brass nozzle heats up quickly and maintains temperature well.
Q: Is the thermistor pre-installed?
A: Yes, the NTC 100K thermistor is pre-installed and secured within the heater block, so you do not need to install it yourself. Just connect the wires to your mainboard.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: No, the silicone insulation sock is not included in this package. You will need to reuse your existing one or purchase it separately if yours is damaged.
Q: Is this compatible with the original CR-6 or only the SE version?
A: This assembly is specifically designed for the CR-6 SE model due to differences in the mounting bracket and connector layout. It is not directly compatible with the non-SE CR-6 without modifications.
Q: Do I need to level the bed again after installing this?
A: Yes, whenever you replace the hotend assembly, it is highly recommended to re-level your build plate and adjust the Z-offset to ensure the first layer adheres correctly.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this hotend can handle?
A: The standard brass nozzle included is rated for temperatures up to 260°C, which is suitable for PLA, PETG, and TPU. For higher temperature materials like ABS or Nylon, we recommend upgrading to a hardened steel nozzle.
