Beautiful but smaller than expected
Absolutely lovely piece with great energy. I just wished it was slightly larger for my hand size, but the quality makes up for it.

Soothing to hold
I use this while meditating. The texture is perfect, not too rough or too slick. The natural grain patterns are mesmerizing.

Authentic Taihang wood
As someone who collects wooden crafts, I can confirm this is genuine old Thuja. The density and aroma are spot on.

Good, but color varies
The carving is nice, but the color of the wood was lighter than the photos showed. Still a decent purchase for the price.

Perfect gift for collectors
Bought this for my father who loves Wenwan items. He was thrilled with the aging of the wood and the spiritual symbolism of Guanyin.

Exquisite craftsmanship
The detail on the Pixiu is incredible. You can tell this was carved by a master artisan. The wood feels smooth and has a wonderful subtle scent.
Q: How should I clean this wooden carving?
A: Simply wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water or chemical cleaners to preserve the natural wood oils.
Q: Is this item made from real Thuja wood or a composite?
A: This is carved from 100% natural old Taihang Thuja wood, not a composite or resin imitation.
Q: Can this be used as a paperweight?
A: Yes, its weight and flat base areas make it suitable as a small decorative paperweight, though it is primarily designed for handheld use.
Q: Is there a strong smell when I first open the package?
A: There is a mild, pleasant cedar-like aroma typical of Thuja wood, but it is not overpowering and fades slightly over time.
Q: Does the Pixiu face forward or backward?
A: Traditional Feng Shui dictates the Pixiu faces outward to attract wealth, which is how this piece is oriented.
