Perfect pocket companion
I bought this as a fidget object for stress relief. The oily texture develops beautifully over time, and the fortune symbol adds a nice touch of positivity.

Beautiful but smaller than expected
The quality is undeniable, and the wood grain is stunning. It is slightly smaller than I imagined from the photos, but still fits perfectly in my palm.

Lovely gift idea
Purchased this as a gift for my father who loves woodworking. He was impressed by the density of the wood and the intricate carving of the gourd shape.
Q: Can this be used daily without damaging the carving?
A: Absolutely. The wood is solid and durable. Daily handling will actually enhance its luster and deepen the color over time due to natural oxidation.
Q: How strong is the fragrance of the cypress wood?
A: The fragrance is natural and mild, reminiscent of a forest breeze. It is most noticeable when you first open the package or after rubbing the wood gently.
Q: Does this item come with a display stand or pouch?
A: Yes, each piece comes with a small velvet drawstring pouch for storage and protection. A display stand is not included but can be purchased separately.
Q: What does the fortune symbol on the gourd represent?
A: In traditional culture, the gourd (Hulu) symbolizes good health and longevity, while the specific fortune character carved on it invites prosperity and good luck.
Q: Is the wood treated with any chemicals or varnishes?
A: No, the wood is completely natural. The oily feel comes from the high resin content of the aged cypress and regular handling, not from artificial coatings.
