Perfect starter kit for professionals
As someone returning to calligraphy after years away, this set provided everything I needed to get started immediately. The quality of the Xuan paper is excellent; it absorbs ink beautifully without bleeding too much. The pine soot ink stick produces a rich, deep black color.

Impressed by the ink quality

Great quality, instructions could be better
The materials are top-notch, especially the stone and the brush bristles. My only suggestion would be to include a more detailed guide in English on how to properly grind the ink and care for the brush, as I had to look up some techniques online. Otherwise, a fantastic purchase.

A true work of art
This isn't just a toolset; it's a display piece. The 'Qianli Jiangshan' theme on the box lid is painted with incredible detail. The brush handle is smooth bamboo, comfortable to hold for long writing sessions. Great value for the price given the luxury presentation.

Exquisite craftsmanship and presentation
