Exceeded expectations
Fast shipping and the product matches the photos exactly. The Old Beijing style is very traditional yet the finish makes them feel modern and clean. Highly recommend.

Beautiful aesthetic
The 'Jade-Like' description is accurate. They have a wonderful translucency when held up to the light. The velvet pouch included is a nice touch for storage.

Perfect for beginners
As someone new to Wenwan, I didn't want to wait years for a natural patina. These pre-polished stones from Furuitang are the perfect solution. High quality and beautiful color.

Great size variation
I ordered a set and received walnuts right in the middle of the 35-45mm range. They fit my palm perfectly. The lion's head texture is distinct but not sharp. Very satisfying to hold.

Solid weight and balance
Good density for Nanjiang stone. They clack together with a pleasant sound. One walnut was slightly smaller than the other, but within the advertised tolerance.

Incredible smooth finish
The machine polishing on these Nanjiang stones is exceptional. They feel like jade in the hand immediately, saving months of manual rubbing. The patina looks authentic and adds great character.
Q: How heavy is a typical pair?
A: A typical pair weighs approximately 40 grams total, though slight variations occur due to the natural density of the stone and specific size of the pair.
Q: What is the exact size of the pair I will receive?
A: Sizes vary naturally between 35mm and 45mm. We select matched pairs as closely as possible, but specific dimensions cannot be guaranteed beyond this range.
Q: Can I still develop more patina by hand rubbing?
A: Absolutely. While they come with a machine-polished base patina, continued hand play will deepen the luster and color over time, just like traditional Wenwan.
Q: Are these walnuts hollow or solid?
A: These are solid Nanjiang stone ornaments, not actual plant walnuts. They are carved and polished to resemble the Lion's Head variety.
Q: Is the velvet pouch suitable for long-term storage?
A: Yes, the included velvet pouch protects the stones from scratches and dust. For long-term storage, keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
