Beautiful piece, slightly smaller than expected
The quality is undeniable, and the hand-carved details are impressive. I just wished it was slightly larger based on the description, but once I placed it on my mantle, the size felt appropriate. The finish is very smooth.

Authentic Taihang Cypress
As someone who collects wood crafts, I can confirm this is genuine Taihang cliff cypress. The density and aroma are distinct. The symbolism of 'smooth sailing' adds a nice touch of positivity to my living room decor.

Solid and well-made
Very solid construction. No loose parts or rough edges. The polishing job is excellent, giving it a subtle shine without looking artificial. Highly recommend for anyone looking for traditional wooden art.

Great gift for housewarming
Bought this as a housewarming gift for my brother who loves nautical themes. The packaging was secure, and the included velvet stand makes it ready to display immediately. The smell of the cypress wood is very pleasant and natural.

Exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful grain
I was blown away by the detail on this cypress wood carving. The 'Smooth Sailing' boat is perfectly proportioned, and the wood grain is stunning. It looks even better in person than in the photos. A perfect addition to my home office shelf.

Lovely ornament with great meaning
The carving is delicate yet sturdy. I love the concept behind the smooth sailing boat. It arrived quickly and was well-protected in the box. Took off one star only because the stand could be a bit heavier to balance the sculpture better.
Q: How should I clean the dust off the carving without damaging it?
A: We recommend using a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe away dust. Please avoid using water, cleaning sprays, or abrasive materials as they may damage the natural wood finish.
Q: Is each piece identical, or will the wood grain vary?
A: Since this is a hand-carved product made from natural solid wood, each piece is unique. The shape will be consistent, but the wood grain patterns and slight color variations will differ, making your ornament one-of-a-kind.
Q: Is this wood treated with any chemicals or varnishes?
A: No, our Taihang Cliff Cypress carvings are finished only with natural beeswax to preserve the wood's authentic scent and texture. We do not use synthetic varnishes or chemical treatments.
Q: Can this be placed outdoors on a patio?
A: We recommend keeping this ornament indoors. While cypress wood is durable, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, rain, or extreme humidity can cause the wood to crack or fade over time.
Q: Does the package include the velvet stand shown in the pictures?
A: Yes, every order includes a custom-fitted velvet display stand and a premium gift box, so it is ready for display or gifting right out of the box.
