Great starter collector piece
Very nice weight and balance. The 'Golden Toad' shape is unique. One walnut has a tiny natural imperfection, but it adds to the authenticity of an old tree harvest.

Beautiful texture
I was worried about the open-back style being too fragile, but these are solid. The ridges are deep and satisfying to touch. Great quality from Yanqing.

Lovely gift item
Purchased as a gift for my father who collects wenwan items. He was impressed by the craftsmanship and the specific 'toad head' characteristics. Packaging was secure.

Authentic Yanqing quality
You can tell these come from an old tree by the density and the color. The open-back design is classic. Highly recommend for serious enthusiasts.

Exceptional matching pair
The symmetry between these two walnuts is incredible. The short stump and blunt tip give them a very distinct, sturdy look. Perfect for daily hand rotation.

Smooth rolling action
Bought these for stress relief and hand exercise. They roll smoothly in the palm without pinching. The blunt tips are comfortable even after long sessions.
Q: Do these come with a storage box?
A: Yes, each pair comes in a protective velvet pouch and a sturdy cardboard gift box to ensure they remain safe when not in use.
Q: How do I clean these before starting to play with them?
A: We recommend using a soft, dry brush to remove any dust. Avoid using water or chemicals, as natural oils from your hands will help develop the patina over time.
Q: What is the approximate diameter of this pair?
A: While sizes vary slightly due to natural growth, this collector-grade pair typically measures between 42mm and 44mm in width. Exact measurements are included on the product tag.
Q: Is the 'Short Stump' prone to breaking easily?
A: No, the short stump design is actually more durable than long, thin stumps. These are selected for structural integrity and are suitable for regular handheld use.
Q: Are these walnuts hollow or solid inside?
A: These are solid, natural walnuts harvested from old trees. The 'Open-Back' refers to the external shape of the shell ridge, not an internal cavity.
