Significant Flow Improvement
Switched from the stock hotend to this volcano setup. The flow rate is much better for bulk printing. Installation took about 20 minutes.

Perfect for CR-10
Fit my CR-10 S5 perfectly. The aluminum block heats up quickly and maintains temperature well during long prints.

Solid upgrade
Allows for higher speed printing without underextrusion. Fan is slightly louder than stock but cooling is effective.

Good but check wiring
The hotend works great once installed. Just make sure your wiring harness matches the voltage you ordered. No issues with heating consistency.

Great value kit
Comes with everything needed including the fan and screws. Much cheaper than buying individual components separately.
Q: Do I need to update my firmware?
A: Generally no, but you may need to adjust flow rate settings in your slicer software to match the new nozzle capacity.
Q: What is the length of the heat break?
A: It uses the standard V6 geometry heat break length suitable for Bowden setup printers.
Q: Can I use this for abrasive filaments?
A: The included nozzle is brass. For abrasive filaments, we recommend swapping to a hardened steel nozzle separately.
Q: Does this come with a nozzle installed?
A: Yes, a standard 0.4mm brass nozzle is pre-installed on the heater block.
Q: Is this compatible with the Ender 3 V2?
A: Yes, this assembly is compatible with the Ender 3 V2 provided you select the correct voltage option.
