Q: Does this kit include a heater cartridge?
A: No, this kit includes the heater block and nozzle only. The heater cartridge is sold separately.
Q: Is this compatible with a standard Ender 3?
A: This requires a Volcano hotend modification. It is not compatible with the stock Ender 3 hotend.
Q: Can I use carbon fiber filament with this nozzle?
A: No, brass nozzles are not recommended for abrasive filaments like carbon fiber. Please use a hardened steel nozzle instead.
Q: What is the maximum safe temperature?
A: For brass nozzles, we recommend a maximum operating temperature of 250°C to prevent degradation.
Q: What tool is needed for installation?
A: You will need a standard nozzle wrench and a hex key for mounting the block.
