Perfect for Irish tunes!

The Paddy tuning on this harmonica is a game changer. Being able to play the major scale without bending the 4th hole makes playing reels and jigs so much smoother. The build quality feels premium for the price point.

Good volume and tone

Very loud and clear tone. I use it for busking and it cuts through the street noise easily. Only giving 4 stars because the case latch feels a bit flimsy, but the instrument itself is top-notch.

Exceeded expectations

Bought this as a backup to my main harp and ended up using it more often. The Paddy tuning opens up so many melodic possibilities that standard Richter tuning limits. Great purchase.

Impressive craftsmanship

Best budget pro harp

I've played Hohners and Seydels for years, but this JDR Assassin holds its own. The air tightness is excellent, and the response on bends is very predictable. Highly recommended for intermediate players.

Great sound, slight break-in needed

Sounds fantastic once you get past the first few hours of playing. The reeds were a little stiff initially but softened up nicely. The stainless steel covers give it a nice weight and projection.
