Beautiful craftsmanship

Ideal for travel and small apartments

Living in a small apartment, a full-sized Guzheng wasn't an option. This Ningbi model fits perfectly on my desk and sounds amazing. The solid wood really makes a difference compared to composite materials I've tried before.

Good value, minor setup needed

Overall a fantastic instrument for beginners. The strings were slightly out of tune upon arrival, which is expected, but the included wrench made adjustment easy. The instruction manual could be more detailed, but online videos helped.

Great portability without sacrificing tone

As an adult beginner with limited space, this portable Guzheng is a game-changer. The solid wood construction gives it a warm tone that rivals larger models. Only giving 4 stars because the tuning pegs were a bit stiff at first, but they loosened up after use.
