Upgrade from student model
Moving from a beginner bamboo guzheng to this rosewood 694L was a game changer. The dynamic range allows for much more expressive playing. Highly recommended for anyone preparing for grading exams.

Great sound, heavy case
The zither itself is fantastic with a deep, warm tone that improves the more I play it. My only minor complaint is that the hard case is quite heavy to carry around for long distances, but it offers great protection.

Professional quality

Beautiful tone and finish
I chose the Lotus Pond design and it looks even better in person. The lacquer finish is smooth and the wood grain is beautiful. The sound is balanced across all registers, making complex pieces easier to execute.
