Excellent resonance and build quality
As a music teacher, I have tested many Guzhengs in this price range. The Longfeng Tianquan series stands out for its consistent tuning stability and rich bass response. The 9610 Furong model has a very balanced sound across all registers. A solid choice for students advancing to higher grades.

Perfect for my daughter's first exam
We purchased the 9602 Meilan model for our daughter who is preparing for her level 5 exam. The tone is incredibly clear and resonant, far better than we expected for a student instrument. The craftsmanship on the floral inlay is beautiful. Highly recommended for serious beginners.

Authentic Yangzhou craftsmanship
I grew up playing on Longfeng instruments, so I knew exactly what to expect. This new Tianquan series maintains the traditional warm tone associated with Yangzhou-made Guzhengs. It projects well in a concert hall setting. Great value for a professional-grade student instrument.

Great sound, heavy weight
The sound quality of the 9602 is fantastic for the price point. My only note is that the hardwood frame makes it quite heavy, so moving it around requires some care. However, that density definitely contributes to the deep, rich tone. Would buy again.

Beautiful instrument, minor setup needed
The 9611 Huazhiman is stunning visually and sounds wonderful once fully settled. It arrived well-packaged. I did need to adjust the bridges slightly to get the perfect intonation, but that is normal for wooden instruments. The wood quality feels premium.

Exceeded expectations
I was hesitant to buy an instrument online without hearing it first, but this Guzheng exceeded my expectations. The highs are crisp without being shrill, and the sustain is lovely. The included case is sturdy enough for travel to lessons. Very happy with this purchase.

A: The soundboard is crafted from high-quality, aged Paulownia wood, which is the traditional standard for Guzheng construction. This wood is chosen for its ability to produce a warm, resonant tone with good sustain.
Q: How should I maintain this Guzheng to ensure longevity?
A: Keep the instrument away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, or high humidity. Wipe the strings and body with a soft, dry cloth after each use. We also recommend loosening the string tension slightly if the instrument will not be played for an extended period.
Q: What is the difference between the 9602, 9610, and 9611 models?
A: The primary differences lie in the wood grain selection and the specific hand-carved floral patterns on the side panels. Acoustically, they are very similar as they share the same internal structure and soundboard thickness, making any of them suitable for exams.
