Solid practice instrument
Very happy with this purchase for daily practice. The volume is sufficient for a small room, and the tuning holds well. The included bag is a nice bonus for carrying it to classes.

Excellent craftsmanship
The raw lacquer finish feels smooth and high-quality. I've been playing for three years and needed an upgrade for exams; this Zhongni style model has great projection and sustain. The setup out of the box was perfect.

Great sound, minor shipping delay
The instrument itself is fantastic. The tone is clear and the strings are easy to press for a beginner like me. Only giving 4 stars because shipping took a week longer than expected, but the free shipping made up for it.

Beautiful aesthetic and sound
The crackle pattern on the lacquer is stunning in person. It looks like an antique but plays with modern reliability. My teacher was impressed with the resonance during my last lesson.

Best value for money
I compared many brands before choosing Yangzhou Qinghui. For the price, you cannot beat the quality of the aged wood and the pure lacquer work. It sounds much more expensive than it is.

Perfect for my first Guqin
I was nervous about buying a Guqin online, but this Qinghui instrument exceeded my expectations. The aged fir wood gives it a warm, deep tone that doesn't sound tinny at all. The deer horn frost pattern is beautiful and authentic. Highly recommended for beginners!
