Perfect for modern floating shelves

Good value for the price

Solid construction and the black finish matches my other hardware well. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the instructions could be slightly more detailed regarding different wood densities, but overall a great buy.

Great product, slight learning curve

The quality of the metal is excellent and they hold a lot of weight. It took me one practice run on a scrap piece of wood to get the groove depth right, but after that, installation was smooth. Would recommend watching the tutorial video first.

I used these to connect two large cabinet panels. You literally cannot see the connection point from the outside. The joint feels solid with no wobble. Best hardware purchase I've made this year.

Q: Will these support a heavy granite countertop?

A: These connectors are designed for wood panel furniture like cabinets and shelves. For heavy stone or granite countertops, we recommend specialized stone support brackets rather than these wood panel connectors.

Q: Can these be used on particle board or only solid wood?

A: They work best on solid wood, plywood, or high-density MDF. We do not recommend using them on low-density particle board as it may not hold the groove securely under heavy loads.

Q: What size router bit is needed if I don't use the included tool?

A: If you prefer using your own router setup, a 6mm straight bit is typically required to match the profile of our connectors, though we highly recommend using the included jig for perfect alignment.

Q: Do I need glue in addition to these connectors?

A: Glue is not strictly necessary as the mechanical lock provides strong holding power, but applying a small amount of wood glue in the groove before insertion can add extra stability for permanent installations.

Q: Is the grooving tool reusable for future projects?

A: Yes, the included grooving tool is made of durable steel and is designed to be reused for multiple projects indefinitely.
