Perfect for my courtyard
Exactly as described. The old stump option I chose had immediate character and started flowering within weeks. Very easy to care for if you don't overwater.

Absolutely Stunning Blooms!
I ordered the small seedling and it arrived healthy. Within two months, it started producing these incredible double-petal flowers. It looks amazing on my patio trellis.

Exceeded expectations
This is my third bougainvillea from this shop. The double-petal variety is much fuller than the standard ones. Great value for the price.

Great plant, needs sun
The plant is vigorous and grew quickly, but make sure you have a very sunny spot. I moved mine from a shaded corner to full sun and the blooming increased dramatically.

Beautiful but thorny
The flowers are gorgeous and bloom year-round in my climate. Just be careful when pruning; the thorns are sharp! Wear gloves.

Survived shipping perfectly
I was worried about ordering a live plant online, but the packaging was secure. The soil was moist, and the leaves were green. Highly recommend this seller.
Q: Does the 'Old Stump' option come with flowers immediately?
A: The Old Stump option typically has established branches and often blooms within a few weeks of acclimation, whereas seedlings may take a season to establish before heavy blooming.
Q: Is this plant toxic to pets?
A: Bougainvillea is generally considered non-toxic to dogs and cats, though ingestion of large amounts of leaves or bracts may cause mild stomach upset.
Q: How often should I water the potted seedling?
A: Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. In summer, this may be every 2-3 days; in winter, reduce frequency to prevent root rot.
Q: What kind of support structure do I need for climbing?
A: You will need a sturdy trellis, fence, or arbor. The vines use their thorns to cling, so a rough surface or a wire grid works best for training them upward.
Q: Can this plant survive indoors if I don't have a garden?
A: Yes, it can be grown indoors provided it is placed directly in front of a south-facing window where it receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.
