Easy for beginners
I have never grown chili before, but these seedlings were very forgiving. They bounced back quickly after transplanting and seem resistant to common pests.

Healthy seedlings arrived safely
I was worried about shipping live plants, but the packaging was excellent. The Meiren seedlings were vibrant green and showed no signs of shock. Planted them in large pots on my balcony, and they are already flowering after three weeks.

Perfect for cooking
These Erjingtiao peppers are exactly what I needed for my Sichuan dishes. The plants are vigorous and producing plenty of fruit. The heat level is authentic and the flavor is spot on.

Good value for wholesale pack
Bought the bulk pack for my community garden. Most plants survived and are growing well. One or two were slightly smaller than the rest, but overall a great deal.

Great yield, needs support
Very high yield as advertised. My only tip is to stake them early; the branches get heavy with peppers quickly. Otherwise, a fantastic variety for container gardening.

Thriving in autumn weather
Planted these in late August and they are still producing beautifully into October. The dual-use nature means I can pick them green for stir-fry or let them turn red for drying.
Q: Are these seedlings suitable for indoor growing under grow lights?
A: Yes, they can be grown indoors if provided with strong full-spectrum grow lights for at least 6-8 hours a day and good air circulation.
Q: Can I save seeds from the red peppers for next season?
A: Absolutely! Allow the red peppers to fully ripen on the plant, then extract and dry the seeds in a cool, dark place before storing them for next spring.
Q: Do you ship to cold climates? Will the plants survive freezing temps during transit?
A: We use insulated packaging and heat packs during colder months. However, we advise against ordering if your local temperatures are consistently below freezing upon delivery.
Q: How spicy are these peppers compared to a Jalapeño?
A: Meiren Erjingtiao peppers are generally slightly hotter than a standard Jalapeño but offer a more aromatic and fruity flavor profile.
Q: What size pot do you recommend for these chili plants?
A: We recommend a minimum of 5-gallon (approx. 20 liters) pots to allow the root system to expand fully for maximum yield.
