Perfect for summer cooking
I love having fresh sweet potato leaves available for dinner. These Guangzhou variety leaves are less fibrous than others I have tried. Highly recommend!

Authentic taste
Reminds me of the vegetables I had in Asia. The flavor is mild and sweet. Will definitely order more next season to expand my garden patch.

Slow start but okay now
It took about three weeks for them to really take off, likely due to the cool weather when I planted them. Now they are growing well. Just be patient.

Thrived in my raised bed!
These seedlings arrived in great condition. I planted them two weeks ago and they are already showing significant new growth. The leaves are tender and delicious when stir-fried.

Good quality, fast shipping
The plants were well-packaged with moist paper towels. One cutting was a bit wilted but recovered after watering. Great for anyone wanting to grow their own greens.

Easy to grow for beginners
I don't have a green thumb, but these vines are incredibly resilient. They spread quickly and provide a constant harvest of leaves throughout the season.
Q: Can these be grown in containers or pots?
A: Yes, these sweet potato vines grow very well in large containers or hanging baskets. Ensure the pot has good drainage and is at least 12 inches deep.
Q: How often should I harvest the leaves?
A: You can begin harvesting young leaves and tips once the vine is established, usually about 4 weeks after planting. Harvest regularly to encourage bushier growth.
Q: What is the best temperature range for these seedlings?
A: These plants thrive in warm weather between 70°F and 95°F (21°C - 35°C). They are sensitive to frost and should be planted only after the last frost date in your area.
Q: Do these plants attract pests?
A: Sweet potato vines can occasionally attract aphids or flea beetles. Regular inspection and organic neem oil spray can help manage any minor infestations.
Q: Are the tubers edible as well?
A: While the primary purpose of this variety is leaf production, small tubers may form. However, they are often smaller and less sweet than varieties bred specifically for tuber production.
