Perfect for heavy glass doors

Solid unit, installation requires precision
The spring itself is very robust and handles our heavy wooden door easily. Deducting one star because the template for drilling needs to be measured very precisely, but once installed, it works great.

Great value for commercial use
We replaced three old units with these GBDWN springs. They handle high traffic well and the adjustable speed valves make it easy to customize the closing rate for different door weights.
Q: Can I adjust the closing speed myself after installation?
A: Yes, there are adjustment valves on the top of the unit that allow you to regulate the closing and latching speeds using a standard screwdriver.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor entrance doors exposed to rain?
A: While the aluminum alloy is corrosion-resistant, we recommend installing a protective cover or ensuring the drainage system is effective if the unit is directly exposed to heavy rainfall.
Q: Is there a back-check function to prevent the door from slamming open?
A: The H-220A model primarily features adjustable closing and latching speeds with a 90-degree hold-open. For specific back-check requirements on very high-wind areas, please consult our technical team for alternative models.
