Perfect for hiking trips
I needed something compact to fit in my backpack, and this set is incredible. It collapses down to almost nothing but feels sturdy once extended. Caught a nice bass on the first try.

Good rod, average reel
The rod itself is fantastic for the price, very portable and strong. However, the included reel feels a bit cheap and the drag could be smoother. I might upgrade just the reel later.

Surprisingly durable
I was skeptical about telescopic rods, but this one changed my mind. The carbon fiber construction is solid, and the guides are smooth. Took it saltwater fishing and had no issues with corrosion so far.

Best travel rod I've owned

Convenient and lightweight

Great value starter kit
As a beginner, I didn't want to buy everything separately. This kit has everything you need to start fishing immediately. The reel is basic but functional, and the rod is surprisingly sensitive.
Q: How do I clean the telescopic sections?
A: Simply extend the rod fully, wipe down each section with a damp cloth to remove dirt or sand, and let it air dry completely before collapsing it back into the carrier bag.
Q: What is the maximum weight this rod can handle?
A: This rod is designed for line weights between 6-12 lbs and lure weights from 1/4 oz to 3/4 oz. It performs best with medium-sized freshwater or inshore saltwater species.
Q: Can I replace the reel if I want a better one?
A: Absolutely. The reel seat is a standard screw-lock design compatible with most spinning reels of similar size, allowing you to easily upgrade whenever you wish.
