Great for leisure fishing
Perfect for relaxing by the river. It's not meant for heavy-duty deep sea fishing, but for stream angling, it is perfect. The retro look gets a lot of compliments from other fishermen.

Surprisingly lightweight
I was worried a bamboo rod would be heavy, but this one is surprisingly light. The purple bamboo is dense yet flexible. Caught several trout with it last week without any issues. Great value for the price.

Classic feel with modern durability
I bought this for the aesthetic and the traditional fishing experience. It performs well for smaller fish. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the case could be slightly more padded, but the rod itself is excellent.
