Great visibility
As a professional welder, I go through lenses often. These offer great visibility and protection. The transition between shades is smooth if you have the adjustable frame.

Decent but scratches easily

Essential for safety

Good value for the price

Perfect fit for my old helmet
I was worried about the sizing, but this lens fit perfectly into my standard welding helmet. The clarity at shade 8 is excellent for arc welding, and I can see the puddle clearly without eye strain.
Q: Will this lens fit a Lincoln Electric Viking helmet?
A: This lens is designed for standard-sized welding helmets (110mm x 90mm). Most Lincoln Electric models use this standard size, but we recommend measuring your current lens slot to be certain before purchasing.
Q: Does this come with a protective film on both sides?
A: Yes, the lens arrives with protective plastic films on both the front and back surfaces. Please peel these off before first use to ensure maximum clarity.
Q: Is this lens auto-darkening?
A: No, this is a passive fixed-shade glass lens. It does not automatically darken like electronic auto-darkening filters. You must choose the specific shade level suitable for your welding task.
Q: Can I use this for MIG welding as well?
A: Yes, this lens is suitable for MIG, TIG, and Stick welding provided you select the appropriate shade number (7-9) based on the amperage you are using.
Q: What is the difference between shade 7, 8, and 9?
