Good but needs patience
Hardware is solid. Some soldering is required which wasn't entirely clear from the main image. Once assembled, the voice control feature is a nice touch. Deducting one star for the unclear power requirements in the manual.

Excellent STEM Learning Tool
Bought this for my teenager who is interested in robotics. The STM32 board is powerful enough for real learning but accessible enough for beginners. The Bluetooth control works smoothly with the provided app.

Perfect Gift for Makers
My son loves this kit. He managed to program it to avoid obstacles using the ultrasonic sensor. The community support online is also very helpful for additional code examples.

Cute and Functional
The puppy design is adorable. It moves surprisingly well for a DIY kit. Assembly took about 2 hours but the instructions were clear. Great way to learn embedded systems.

Solid Build Quality
The servos are metal gear which is a nice upgrade from plastic ones found in cheaper kits. The PCB layout is clean. Highly recommend for anyone starting with STM32 development.
Q: Can the puppy walk on carpet?
A: It works best on hard surfaces. It can navigate short-pile carpet, but thick carpet may hinder the servo movement.
Q: Is a battery included in the package?
A: No, the kit is powered via USB cable for development. You can optionally connect a 5V power bank for portable use, but it is not included.
Q: Is this compatible with macOS?
A: Yes, the STM32 drivers are compatible with macOS. You may need to install specific USB-to-serial drivers depending on your IDE setup.
Q: Does the kit come with example code?
A: Yes, a QR code in the manual links to our GitHub repository with full source code for walking, obstacle avoidance, and Bluetooth control.
Q: Is soldering required for assembly?
A: Yes, basic soldering is required to attach the servo motors and headers to the PCB. A soldering iron kit is recommended.
