Perfect texture for Su embroidery
The weave is tight enough to hold fine threads but loose enough to push the needle through easily. The natural color provides a beautiful backdrop for my silk threads.

Authentic feel

Great quality, shrinks a bit
Excellent fabric for DIY projects. Just remember to pre-wash it because it did shrink slightly after the first rinse. Otherwise, the linen-cotton blend is very durable.

Exactly what I needed for door curtains
I bought this to make embroidered door curtains. The fabric hangs well and isn't too sheer. The plain weave makes counting threads for patterns very easy.
Q: How much fabric do I need for a standard door curtain?
A: For a standard door (approx. 80cm wide), we recommend purchasing 2.5 to 3 meters to allow for hems, header pockets, and any pattern repeat alignment.
Q: What is the thread count of this linen-cotton blend?
A: The fabric has an approximate thread count of 28x24 per square centimeter, which is ideal for most hand embroidery techniques including Su embroidery.
Q: Is this fabric suitable for machine washing?
A: While it can withstand a gentle machine cycle, we strongly recommend hand washing in cold water to preserve the fiber integrity and prevent excessive shrinkage.
Q: Can I use this for making clothes or just home decor?
A: Due to its medium-heavy weight and slightly rough texture, it is best suited for home decor items like curtains, table runners, or wall hangings rather than clothing.
Q: Does this come in other colors besides natural off-white?
A: Currently, this specific SKU is only available in Natural Off-White to provide a neutral base for your embroidery threads. We plan to introduce dyed options soon.
