Good but not real silk
It's clearly synthetic as described, but don't expect the drape of real silk. It works well for stiff structures like boxes or collars.
Q: What surfaces does the adhesive stick to best?
A: It adheres best to clean, smooth, and dry surfaces such as wood, plastic, metal, or glass. Rough or textured surfaces may reduce adhesion.
Q: Does the pattern repeat seamlessly if I buy multiple meters?
A: Yes, the pattern is continuous along the length of the roll, so you can cut seamless sections for larger projects.
Q: Is this material fire retardant?
A: No, this polyester imitation brocade is not treated with fire-retardant chemicals. Please keep it away from open flames.
Q: Can I remove the adhesive if I make a mistake?
A: The adhesive is designed to be permanent. Once applied, it is very difficult to remove without damaging the fabric or the surface underneath.
Q: Is this fabric suitable for making a full dress?
A: While you can use it for accents or structured parts of a garment, it is not recommended for a full flowing dress as the material is somewhat stiff due to the adhesive backing.
