Good but requires ironing
The fabric arrived very wrinkled. Once ironed, it looked great. Just be prepared to spend some time pressing it before you start your project.

Excellent quality for the price
I bought this to make door curtains for my studio. The weave is tight, and the pre-printed guides for stitching are very helpful. Highly recommend.

Perfect for my living room curtains
The colors are vibrant and exactly as pictured. The fabric is sturdy enough to hold the punch embroidery without tearing. It looks stunning hanging in my window.

Beautiful pattern, slightly stiff at first
Lovely traditional design. The fabric was a bit stiff out of the package but softened up nicely after the first wash. Great for DIY projects.

Authentic look
As someone who grew up with these patterns, I can say this fabric captures the authentic Russian style perfectly. The reds are deep and rich.
Q: What size punch needle works best with this material?
A: We recommend using a standard adjustable punch needle set to a medium loop height, typically compatible with worsted weight yarn.
Q: Can this fabric be used for outdoor curtains?
A: While durable, this cotton blend is best suited for indoor use. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and rain may cause the colors to fade over time.
Q: Is the floral pattern printed or woven into the fabric?
A: The floral pattern is printed onto the fabric as a guide for your punch needle embroidery, allowing you to stitch directly over the design.
Q: Does this fabric shrink after washing?
A: There may be minimal shrinkage (approximately 3-5%) after the first wash. We suggest pre-washing the fabric before cutting and sewing your curtains.
Q: Is the backing of the fabric plain or does it have a pattern?
A: The backing is plain white/off-white cotton. The colorful traditional flower pattern is only visible on the front side of the fabric.
