Excellent for beginners
As someone new to embroidery, this fabric was very forgiving. It doesn't fray excessively when cut and holds the shape of the hoop perfectly.

Beautiful solid colors

Great for curtains too
Bought this specifically to make a lightweight door curtain with embroidered flowers. It hangs nicely and lets some light through while providing privacy.

Good quality canvas
Solid fabric with no thin spots. It shrunk slightly after the first wash, so I recommend pre-washing before cutting your pattern. Great value for the price.

Perfect for my embroidery projects
The weave is tight enough to hold stitches well but loose enough to push the needle through easily. I used the cream color for a door curtain and it looks elegant.

Soft yet durable
Despite being a canvas cloth, it feels surprisingly soft to the touch. After several washes, the fabric has held up without pilling or fading.

A: This fabric has a weight of approximately 140-150 GSM, making it a medium-weight canvas ideal for both clothing accents and home decor items like curtains.
Q: Is this fabric suitable for machine embroidery or only hand stitching?
A: While designed primarily for hand embroidery due to its natural weave, it can be used for machine embroidery if you use a stabilizer backing to prevent puckering.
Q: Can I dye this fabric if I want a different color?
A: Yes, since it is 100% natural cotton, it takes fiber-reactive dyes and all-purpose fabric dyes very well. Please ensure you wash out any sizing before dyeing.
Q: Is the white version opaque enough for a door curtain?
A: The white version offers moderate opacity. It will provide privacy during the day but may become semi-sheer when backlit by strong lights at night.
Q: Does this fabric come pre-shrunk?
A: No, our 100% cotton fabrics are not pre-shrunk. We highly recommend washing and drying the fabric before starting your project to account for any shrinkage.
