Reliable backup instrument
Even in the age of computers, I always wear a mechanical gauge as a backup. This Scubapro unit is incredibly clear underwater and the luminous scale actually works well in darker waters. The thermometer is a nice bonus for checking thermoclines.

Classic design that works
No batteries to die on you mid-dive. The 60-meter range is perfect for recreational limits. The glow-in-the-dark markings are bright enough to see during night dives without needing a torch directly on the face.

Great build quality
Solid construction and easy to read at a glance. The wrist strap is comfortable and secure. I deducted one star only because the needle can be a bit jittery if you are moving quickly, but it settles fast once you stop.

Clear and precise
The dial is very legible even through a thick wetsuit hood peripheral vision. I've taken this down to 45 meters multiple times and it returns to zero perfectly every time. A trusted piece of kit.

A: The built-in analog thermometer is calibrated for typical diving temperatures. While it may react slightly slower in extreme cold compared to digital sensors, it provides reliable general readings for recreational diving.
Q: Can the wrist strap be replaced if it wears out?
A: Yes, the elastic wrist strap is designed to be replaceable. You can contact our support team for replacement parts or use a standard compatible dive strap.
Q: Does this gauge require any batteries to operate?
A: No, this is a fully mechanical device that operates using water pressure, so no batteries are required or used.
Q: How do I clean the luminous scale if it gets cloudy?
A: Rinse the gauge thoroughly with fresh water after each dive. If cloudiness persists, gently wipe the lens with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives that could damage the luminous coating.
