Great for prototyping
Small form factor makes it easy to integrate into custom PCBs later. Documentation could be slightly better but standard datasheets work fine.

The board itself is high quality and compact. Just remember you need to purchase a USB to TTL downloader separately as it is not included in the package.

Perfect for learning 8051 architecture
