Works as described
Solid board for the price. The LCD screen is a nice addition. Only minor issue was the jumper caps were a bit loose, but easily replaced.

Reliable for university labs
We ordered ten of these for our lab. All boards functioned correctly. The STC89C52RC is a classic chip for education.

Good value but manual is basic
The hardware quality is solid. LEDs and buttons work fine. I wish the documentation was more detailed in English, but online communities helped.

Excellent starter kit
Everything arrived intact. The USB programmer worked immediately on Windows 10. Great way to learn C51 assembly and C programming.

Perfect for learning embedded systems
Bought this for my sophomore engineering project. The board is well-labeled and the examples provided helped me understand interrupts and timers quickly.
Q: Does this come with a USB cable?
A: Yes, the package includes a USB cable for power and programming communication.
Q: What software do I need to program this?
A: You can use Keil uVision for C or Assembly programming. The STC-ISP software is needed for downloading code.
Q: Is this compatible with Arduino IDE?
A: No, this board uses the 8051 architecture and is not compatible with the Arduino IDE which targets AVR/ARM chips.
Q: Are example codes provided?
A: Yes, a CD or download link is provided with basic examples for LEDs, timers, and LCD display usage.
Q: Can I power this via a 9V battery?
A: Yes, there is a DC power jack that accepts 9V input, which is regulated down to 5V for the board.
