Perfect for University Projects
Used this for my senior design project and it worked flawlessly. The NIOS II support made system design much easier than expected.
Q: Is the USB driver included in the package?
A: Drivers are not on a CD but are available for download on the manufacturer support website.
Q: What Quartus version is best for this chip?
A: We recommend Quartus II 13.0sp1 or Quartus Prime Lite Edition for full compatibility.
Q: Is JTAG chain supported for multiple devices?
A: Yes, the board includes a standard JTAG interface that supports chaining with other JTAG devices.
Q: Can I expand IOs using the headers?
A: Yes, there are two 40-pin headers that expose most of the FPGA pins for expansion boards.
Q: Does this board support 5V tolerant inputs?
A: No, the IO banks operate at 3.3V. Please ensure your external circuits are compatible to avoid damage.
