Perfect Entry Level Board
Works great for learning Verilog. The onboard USB-JTAG makes programming very easy without needing external hardware.

Good Hardware Documentation
Examples are helpful and the schematic is clear. Would give 5 stars if the wiki had more advanced projects.

A: You can power it via 5V Micro USB or a 5V DC jack. USB is sufficient for most logic tasks.
Q: Can I use Vivado 2020?
A: Yes, this board is compatible with ISE and Vivado suites. Most users prefer ISE for Spartan-6.
Q: Does this work with Windows 10?
A: Yes, drivers are available for Windows 10 and 11. You can download them from the manufacturer website.
Q: Is the programmer built-in?
A: Yes, there is an onboard USB-JTAG programmer so you do not need a separate cable.
