Great gift idea

Bought this as a housewarming gift. The recipient loved it. The only reason for 4 stars is that the coin slot is slightly tight for thicker commemorative coins.

A: We use only non-toxic, water-based lacquer for the finish, making it safe for display in homes with children and pets. It is free from harsh chemical treatments.

Q: Is there a plug at the bottom to retrieve the coins?

A: No, this hand-carved design does not have a removable plug to maintain its structural integrity. Coins can be retrieved by gently shaking the bank upside down through the slot or using long tweezers if necessary.

Q: What happens if it gets wet?

A: Please avoid exposing the piggy bank to water or high humidity, as this can warp the wood or damage the finish. If it gets damp, wipe it immediately with a soft, dry cloth.

Q: Are all giraffes identical?

A: Since each piece is hand-carved from natural wood, there will be slight variations in grain patterns and minor dimensional differences, making each giraffe unique.

Q: Can this hold paper bills?

A: The slot is designed primarily for coins. While folded paper bills might fit, we do not recommend inserting them as they could get stuck or damage the delicate carved edges.
