Does the job well
Replaced a worn-out plastic coupling with this aluminum one. The difference in stability is night and day. Just make sure to measure your shaft sizes carefully before ordering.

Perfect for my CNC upgrade
The build quality is excellent. The aluminum feels sturdy and the fit on the motor shaft was precise with no wobble. Highly recommend for DIY CNC projects.

Good value, fast shipping
Works exactly as described. The orange spider insert provides good flexibility. Took off one star because the set screws were a bit tight to loosen initially, but otherwise great.

Excellent tolerance
The machining tolerances are impressive for the price point. Fits my NEMA 23 motor and 8mm lead screw perfectly. Will buy more for future builds.

Smooth operation
Installed this on my lead screw setup for a linear actuator. It runs very smoothly and handles the misalignment perfectly. No vibration issues at all.
Q: What is the hardness of the orange spider insert?
A: The polyurethane spider insert has a hardness of approximately 92A, offering a balance between flexibility and torque transmission.
Q: Can this handle axial load?
A: This is a flexible jaw coupling designed primarily for torque transmission and accommodating angular/parallel misalignment. It is not designed to support significant axial loads.
Q: Does this come with the hex keys needed for installation?
A: Yes, each coupling includes a small hex key suitable for tightening the set screws.
Q: Is the bore size customizable or fixed?
A: We offer various fixed bore combinations. Please select the specific shaft diameter combination you need from the dropdown menu when ordering. Custom bores are not available for this standard item.
Q: What is the maximum operating temperature?
A: The aluminum body can withstand high temperatures, but the polyurethane spider insert is rated for continuous operation up to 80°C (176°F).
