Robust and reliable
We ordered five of these for our prototype assembly line. They have been running continuously for three weeks with no issues. The clamp style ensures a secure hold on the shafts.

Perfect fit for my CNC router
The finished bore was spot on for my servo motor shaft. The two-piece design made installation incredibly easy without needing to disassemble the entire drive train. Very happy with the quality.

Works as described
Exactly what I needed for my stepper motor project. The star-shaped insert is easy to replace if it ever wears out. Shipping was free and faster than expected.

Good value, fast shipping
Solid construction and the aluminum feels durable. The spider insert provides good vibration damping. Took off one star only because the set screws could be slightly higher grade, but overall a great purchase.

Great quality control
The bores were perfectly concentric, which is critical for high-speed applications. No wobble at all when spinning up to 3000 RPM. Will definitely buy again.

Excellent backlash performance
Used this to replace a worn-out coupling on a 3D printer extruder. The L-type design handles minor misalignments perfectly, and there is virtually no backlash. Highly recommended for precision applications.
Q: How do I determine the correct bore size to order?
A: Please measure the diameter of both your motor shaft and the driven shaft using calipers. Select the option that matches your measurements exactly, as these are finished bores designed for a tight fit.
Q: Can I re-bore the hubs if my shaft size is non-standard?
A: While the hubs are made of aluminum alloy, they are precision finished at the factory. We recommend selecting the closest standard bore size available to maintain balance and structural integrity.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor use in rainy conditions?
A: The aluminum hubs have a protective finish, but the coupling is not fully sealed against water ingress. For harsh outdoor environments, we suggest adding a protective cover or using a stainless steel variant.
Q: Does this coupling come with the rubber spider insert included?
A: Yes, the package includes two aluminum hubs and one polyurethane star-shaped spider insert ready for installation.
Q: What is the hardness rating of the spider insert?
A: The polyurethane spider insert typically has a hardness of approximately 92A, offering a good balance between flexibility and torque transmission.
