Great torque transmission
Works exactly as described. It handles the high torque of my servo motor without any slippage. Only giving 4 stars because the delivery took a bit longer than expected.

Good value for money
Solid construction and performs well under load. It is slightly heavier than some plastic alternatives, but the durability makes up for it.

Solved my alignment issues
My motor shaft and lead screw were never perfectly aligned. This flexible joint absorbed the error completely, eliminating the noise and binding.
Q: What is the maximum bore size available for this coupling?
A: The maximum bore size depends on the specific model number within the GC series, but standard sizes range up to 20mm. Please check the detailed specification sheet for your specific variant.
Q: Does this require regular lubrication?
A: No, the GC Series Flexible Spider Diaphragm couplings are designed to be maintenance-free and do not require lubrication during their operational life.
Q: Is this coupling suitable for outdoor use?
A: While the aluminum alloy is anodized for corrosion resistance, this coupling is primarily designed for indoor industrial or hobbyist machinery. For harsh outdoor environments, additional protective housing is recommended.
Q: What tools are needed for installation?
A: Installation typically requires a standard set of hex keys (Allen wrenches) to tighten the set screws. Ensure you use a torque wrench to apply the manufacturer's recommended tightening torque for optimal performance.
Q: Can it handle reverse rotation frequently?
A: Yes, this coupling is engineered to handle frequent start-stop cycles and reverse rotation commonly found in servo and stepper motor applications without losing torsional stiffness.
