Description
These are black flat head Phillips countersunk self-tapping screws designed for creating flush surface finishes in metal, plastic, or wood assemblies. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, the fasteners offer enhanced corrosion resistance and durability compared to standard carbon steel options. The screws feature a sharp point and aggressive thread pattern that allows them to cut their own mating threads during installation, eliminating the need for pre-tapped holes in many applications. The flat head design with a Phillips drive ensures the screw sits level with or below the material surface once fully tightened. Available in metric sizes ranging from M3 to M8, these extended length fasteners comply with national standards for consistent dimensional accuracy. When installing, ensure the driver bit is fully seated in the cross-head slot to prevent cam-out and maintain the integrity of the black coating.

Good but tight
Threads are sharp and cut well. Just make sure to use the correct driver size to avoid stripping the head.

Perfect for my project
Fit perfectly into the pre-drilled holes. The M4 size was exactly what I needed for my electronics enclosure.
5 FAQ
Q: Do you offer bulk pricing for large orders?
A: Yes, we offer discounts for bulk purchases. Please contact our sales team directly for a custom quote on orders over 50 units.
Q: What Phillips driver size is required for M5 screws?
A: For M5 screws, we recommend using a PH2 Phillips driver bit for the best fit and torque transfer.
Q: What is the available length for the M6 size?
A: We offer M6 screws in various lengths ranging from 10mm to 50mm. Please select the specific length from the dropdown menu.
Q: Are these screws rust proof for outdoor use?
A: 304 stainless steel offers good corrosion resistance, but prolonged exposure to harsh saltwater environments may affect the black oxide finish over time.
Q: Will these work on hardwood without pre-drilling?
A: While they are self-tapping, we recommend pre-drilling a pilot hole for very hard woods to prevent splitting and ensure easier installation.
