Good but voltage sensitive
Great sensor but remember it needs 3.3V logic. Had to use a level shifter with my 5V board.

Excellent precision
Works perfectly with my Arduino Uno. The I2C communication is stable and the range is accurate.
Q: Is this sensor 5V tolerant?
A: No, the GP2Y0E03 operates at 3.3V. Using 5V directly may damage the module. Please use a logic level converter.
Q: Can it work in direct sunlight?
A: Infrared sensors can be affected by strong sunlight. It is recommended for indoor use or shaded areas.
Q: What is the default I2C address?
A: The default I2C address for this module is 0x40.
Q: Is there an Arduino library available?
A: Yes, there are several open-source libraries available online that support the GP2Y0E03.
Q: What is the connector type?
A: It comes with a standard JSH connector compatible with Sharp distance sensor cables.
