Reliable micro-motion detection
Can detect breathing presence which passive infrared sensors miss. Very happy with the stability of the signal output over long periods.

Sensitive but needs calibration
Good range and accuracy. I had to tweak the sensitivity settings via UART to avoid false triggers from ceiling fans, but once calibrated it works well.

Documentation could be better
Hardware is solid and feels high quality. However, sample code was hard to find initially on the wiki. Once found, integration was straightforward.

Perfect for lighting automation
No false triggers from pets. Stable connection and low power consumption makes it ideal for battery-backed projects. Highly recommend.

Great for smart home projects
Works perfectly with my ESP32 setup. The documentation is clear and the sensitivity is adjustable. Much better than standard PIR sensors for presence detection.
Q: Can it detect stationary humans?
A: Yes, it detects micro-motions such as breathing and chest movement, allowing it to sense stationary presence.
Q: What is the horizontal beam angle?
A: The horizontal detection angle is approximately 100 degrees, providing wide coverage for room monitoring.
Q: What microcontroller is recommended for integration?
A: We recommend ESP32 or Arduino Due for UART communication. Ensure logic levels match the supply voltage selected.
Q: Is there an SDK available for download?
A: Yes, downloadable from our official wiki page along with datasheets and pinout diagrams.
Q: Does this work through glass or thin walls?
A: Yes, 24GHz radar signals can penetrate non-metallic materials like glass, wood, and thin plastic without significant loss.
