Perfect for Arduino Projects

Good sensor, documentation could be better
Accuracy is solid for the price. Had to tweak the MODBUS address settings manually as the guide was slightly vague.

Struggles in direct sunlight
Works great indoors but performance drops significantly under direct sun. Expected for ToF technology though.
Q: Does it work on reflective surfaces?
A: It works on most surfaces, but highly reflective or transparent materials may cause measurement errors.
Q: Is there a Python library available?
A: We provide example code for C++ and Arduino. Python wrappers are community-supported and can be found on GitHub.
Q: Can I connect multiple sensors to the same I²C bus?
A: Yes, but you need to change the I²C address via command for each unit to avoid conflicts.
Q: What is the maximum cable length for UART?
A: We recommend keeping UART cables under 1 meter for stable communication without shielding.
Q: Is the laser safe for eyes?
A: Yes, it is Class 1 laser certified, safe for normal operation conditions without special eyewear.
