Needs careful wiring
Works okay but I had to add an external pull-up resistor for stable readings on my 3.3V board.
Q: Can I use this to count revolutions per minute?
A: Yes, by counting pulses over a specific time period, you can calculate RPM accurately.
Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V logic boards?
A: Yes, the module operates comfortably between 3.3V and 5V DC.
Q: Does it come with mounting screws?
A: No, screws are not included, but the holes are standard 3mm size.
Q: Is the output normally high or low?
A: The output is normally high and goes low when the slot is blocked.
Q: What is the maximum speed this can detect?
A: The response frequency is up to 20kHz, which supports high-speed motor testing.
