Disk slipped initially
Sensor works fine, but had to glue the encoder disk securely. Once fixed, no issues.

Good value, minor wiring confusion
The sensor itself is accurate. Instructions could be clearer on pinout, but figured it out quickly.
5 FAQ
Q: Does this work with 3.3V logic?
A: Yes, it supports 3.3V to 5V DC input.
Q: How many wires does it use?
A: Typically 3 wires: VCC, GND, and Signal Output.
Q: What is the maximum RPM it can measure?
A: It depends on your microcontroller interrupt speed, but the sensor itself responds up to 20kHz.
Q: Is the encoder disk removable?
A: Yes, the disk can be replaced if you need a different slot count.
Q: Can I use this outdoors?
A: It is not waterproof. We recommend using it in enclosed projects.
