Perfect for my weather station project
This sensor works exactly as described. I integrated it with my Arduino Uno to trigger an alert when rain is detected. The sensitivity adjustment is very useful for differentiating between light mist and heavy rain.

Easy to integrate
I used this for an automatic window closer system. The digital output makes it very easy to read with a microcontroller. Shipping was fast and the packaging protected the PCB well.

Good value but needs calibration
The module is well-built and the nickel coating looks durable. You do need to spend some time calibrating the potentiometer to get the right threshold, but once set, it is reliable.

Great for educational projects
Bought this for a school science project regarding weather monitoring. It was easy to set up and the students could clearly see the output change when water was applied.

Solid build quality
The PCB feels sturdy. I am using it as a water level indicator in a small tank. It responds quickly to contact with water. Just ensure you power it within the recommended voltage range.
Q: Is the electronics board waterproof for outdoor use?
A: The sensor traces are nickel-coated for exposure, but the electronic components on the PCB are not waterproof. We recommend housing the circuit board in a protective enclosure if used outdoors.
