Pins are fragile
Sensor works fine but the pin header felt a bit delicate during soldering. Handle with care.

Good value but needs warmup
Works well once warmed up. Give it about 3 minutes before trusting the first reading.

Perfect for HVAC projects
UART communication is straightforward. Documentation was sufficient for my Home Assistant setup.
Q: How long does calibration take?
A: The module comes pre-calibrated. ABC logic handles automatic baseline calibration over time.
Q: Is it waterproof for outdoor use?
A: The module itself is not waterproof. Please house it in a protective enclosure for outdoors.
Q: Can I power this with 3.3V?
A: No, please use 5V. Using 3.3V may cause unstable readings or damage.
Q: Does this support I2C communication?
A: No, this model supports UART and PWM interfaces only.
Q: Do you provide an Arduino library?
A: We do not host a library, but many open-source libraries support the MH-Z14 protocol.
