Good value for money
Works well for hallway lighting. The blockade time is fixed but acceptable for most uses.
Q: Can this sensor be used outdoors?
A: The module itself is not waterproof. You must use a waterproof enclosure for outdoor installation.
Q: Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, the output is 3.3V TTL which is safe for Raspberry Pi GPIO pins.
Q: What are the trigger modes available?
A: It supports single trigger and repeatable trigger, selectable via a jumper cap on the PCB.
Q: How do I change the detection range?
A: Use the 'S' potentiometer on the board. Turn clockwise to increase distance.
Q: Does it detect motion through glass?
A: PIR sensors generally cannot detect infrared heat signatures through glass effectively.
