Perfect for presence detection
Replaced my PIR sensors with these. The micro-motion detection actually keeps the lights on while I'm reading.

Good module, tricky config
Hardware is solid. Getting the UART commands right took some trial and error. Works great now.
Q: Is 5V logic safe for the UART pins?
A: Yes, the module supports 3.3V to 5V logic levels on the communication pins.
Q: Can this detect motion through a plastic cover?
A: Yes, non-metallic materials like plastic generally do not block the 24 GHz signal.
Q: Can I use this outdoors?
A: The module itself is not weatherproof. It should be housed in an IP-rated enclosure for outdoor use.
Q: Does it require external calibration?
A: No, it comes pre-calibrated. However, sensitivity can be adjusted via serial commands if needed.
Q: What is the beam angle of the antenna?
A: The onboard antenna typically provides a wide detection angle of approximately 120 degrees.
