Needed pull-up resistor
Didn't work initially until I added a 10k resistor between data and VCC. Might be confusing for beginners.

Works perfectly with Arduino
Easy to wire up and the library examples worked straight out of the box. Readings seem accurate compared to my home thermostat.

Good sensor, slow sampling
Does the job well. Just remember it only updates every 2 seconds so don't expect real-time rapid changes.
Q: Does this work with 3.3V logic?
A: Yes, it operates between 3.3V and 5.5V.
Q: Can I use this outdoors?
A: It is not waterproof. You need an enclosure for outdoor use.
Q: How many sensors on one pin?
A: You can daisy-chain multiple sensors on one data line with unique addressing logic.
Q: What is the wire length?
A: The module pins are standard 0.1 inch spacing. Cable not included.
Q: Is there a library for ESP32?
A: Yes, the DHT sensor library by Adafruit supports ESP32.
