Sensitive to placement
Works well but you need to be careful about airflow design. If the air doesn't flow through the sensor chamber correctly, readings are off.

Good value, minor calibration needed
Solid sensor for the price. Had to spend some time calibrating the analog readings to get accurate PM2.5 estimates, but once set up, it's stable.

Perfect for Arduino Projects
Works exactly as described. Easy to interface with my Arduino Uno. Readings seem consistent with my dedicated air quality monitor.
Q: What is the maximum particle size this can detect?
A: This sensor is optimized for fine dust particles, typically around 0.5 to 10 microns, suitable for PM2.5 estimation.
Q: Does this come with a library for Arduino?
A: No, this is a hardware component. However, many open-source libraries are available online created by the community.
Q: Is this sensor waterproof?
A: No, this is an indoor electronic component and should be protected from moisture and direct water exposure.
Q: How long is the cable included?
A: This module typically does not include a cable. You will need to source a compatible 6-pin JST PH2.0 connector separately.
Q: Can I power this with 3.3V?
A: We recommend 5V DC for stable operation. Using 3.3V may result in inconsistent IR LED performance.
